My clients were ready to downsize from their home in Crested Butte and began looking for the right home in Montrose. They found me while navigating that transition, and I helped them identify a property that fit both their lifestyle and their plans for the future.
Located in the desirable Cobble Creek neighborhood, 3712 Buffalo Lane checked many of the boxes they were looking for, including an excellent floor plan, oversized garage, spacious backyard, classic curb appeal, and convenient location.
The home was originally listed at $524,000, and after reviewing the property and negotiating on my clients’ behalf, we were able to secure it for $499,000—$25,000 below the original asking price, or approximately 4.8% in savings.
The transaction also required coordinating their move from Crested Butte to Montrose, so keeping everything on track was important. We successfully closed on May 15, 2026, giving my clients the opportunity to move forward with their next chapter in a home that offered the space, location, and value they were looking for.
As a local real estate agent who has called the Gunnison Valley home for more than 20 years and has been helping clients with real estate for more than 20 years, I understand that every buyer and seller has a different goal.
Whether you’re considering selling a property in Crested Butte, downsizing, purchasing a second home, relocating to one of the surrounding communities, or simply exploring what’s possible in the Gunnison County real estate market, I’d be happy to sit down and talk through your options.
Feel free to stop by my office. I’d be happy to sit down with you, discuss the current opportunities, and maybe enjoy a cup of coffee along the way.
