    February is a time to embrace the winter season and all the activities and events that come with it.     In January 2023, the number of single-family homes listed for sale appears to have dropped dramatically compared to the previous year. The decrease was substantial, with only 2 new listings. The cause of this drop could be a reduction in housing demand, an increase in housing cost, or a mix of both. Additionally, the number of homes sold in January 2023 also decreased compared to the previous year, by 2 fewer properties sold. This could be due to the fewer number of listings available. These figures indicate that the real estate market may be slowing, and it will be fascinating to observe how it develops in the upcoming months.

     

    Furthermore, 4 houses have been sold in January with an average sale price of $363,556, which is quite impressive. This indicates that the housing market is thriving and developing, which is a positive sign for the local area.

    It’s encouraging to observe that there have been 3 new single family homes listed for sale in Crested Butte during January in comparison to the same period in the previous year. With a total of 22 available properties, including single-family homes, townhouses, and condos, and the average sales price for single-family homes at $2,691,575, now is a prime opportunity to invest in real estate in the region!
