Weekly Market Recap: July 13, 2026

The Gunnison County real estate market delivered another exciting week as summer continued to shine! During July 6–12, 2026, the market welcomed 24 new listings, compared to 45 new listings the previous week, as inventory settled into a more balanced pace following the holiday rush. Buyer activity remained steady with 9 new sales, edging up from 8 sales the week before. Even more impressive was the jump in total sales volume, which soared to $18,827,000, a significant increase from last week’s $6,205,000. This surge in dollar volume highlights continued confidence in the Gunnison County market, with buyers investing in higher-value properties while sellers continue to benefit from strong summertime demand.

Looking ahead, Gunnison County is in the heart of its vibrant summer season. Expect warm, sunny days, refreshing mountain evenings, and perfect weather for enjoying the area’s endless outdoor recreation. This week also brings excitement with the Crested Butte Wildflower Festival, one of the valley’s signature summer events, attracting visitors from across the country to experience spectacular alpine blooms, guided hikes, photography workshops, and educational programs. Farmers markets, outdoor concerts, community gatherings, and local festivals continue to fill the calendar, keeping neighborhoods bustling with activity. With tourism at its seasonal peak and more people exploring everything Gunnison County has to offer, real estate activity is expected to remain strong as buyers continue searching for their ideal mountain home.
