Welcome to the March 2026 Real Estate Market Newsletter for Gunnison County! In this month’s edition, I’m sharing a quick look at the latest market trends from February, along with what they may mean for buyers and sellers across the valley. You’ll also find my featured listing at 400 Gothic Road #305 in Mt. Crested Butte, plus a spotlight on the property at 15 Kubler Street in Crested Butte South. Gunnison County experienced a notable decline in both the average and median closed prices for single-family homes when analyzed month-over-month (MoM) and year-over-year (YoY). The median sold price for single-family homes dropped significantly—down 68% from the $2,371,000 recorded just last month.   Demand, however, showed strong growth. It increased 25% compared to the same time last year and rose 8.7% from the previous month. February ended with 224 active properties on the market and 40 new listings, down from 52 new listings in January.
