Weekly Market Recap: October 20, 2025

The Gunnison County real estate market saw a nice rebound this week! From October 13 to October 19, 2025, there were 6 new listings, 11 new sales, and a total sales volume of $9,941,230. That’s more than double last week’s sales volume of $4.1 million, showing that buyers are still active and ready to make moves before the first big snowfall. While fewer new listings hit the market, the jump in closed sales signals growing confidence from both sides — buyers locking in their dream homes and sellers finishing the season strong. The fall market continues to show healthy momentum heading into November!

Across Gunnison Valley, the weather has been a beautiful blend of crisp mornings, sunny afternoons, and a few dustings of snow up in the higher elevations — a true preview of winter. Locals are buzzing about early ski pass sales, seasonal job openings, and festive community events like harvest markets and school fundraisers. In real estate circles, the buzz is about well-priced properties moving quickly and interest rates holding steady. It’s a wonderful time to enjoy the last of the fall color while keeping an eye on the market — because opportunity is still very much in the air!
