Weekly Market Recap: December 1, 2025

The week of November 24–30, 2025 brought a festive yet steady rhythm to Gunnison County’s real estate scene, with 4 new listings, 14 sales, and a strong $16,903,000 in total sales volume. While this is a slight dip from last week’s big surge of 10 listings, 17 sales, and over $22M in volume, the energy is still buzzing in all the right ways. Holiday weeks often slow things down, but not here—buyers and sellers kept the market lively even as everyone juggled travel plans, turkey prep, and cozy gatherings. It’s a great sign that confidence remains high heading into winter.

Thanksgiving week in Gunnison County was everything we love—snowy landscapes, community dinners, local traditions, and that peaceful small-town charm that makes the holiday feel extra heartwarming. As we step into December, the valley is gearing up for classic cold-weather fun: festive markets, tree-lighting ceremonies, winter arts events, and the early-season excitement at Crested Butte. Expect crisp days, chilly nights, and the kind of scenic winter glow that adds magic to every showing and home search. Real estate activity typically picks up again as buyers look to secure winter escapes and sellers take advantage of year-end momentum—so December is shaping up to be both beautiful and busy.
