Compared with the previous week’s 21 new listings, 20 new sales, and $14,248,500 in sales volume, inventory increased slightly by two listings, while sales settled from an exceptionally busy 20 closings to a still-solid 12. With a healthy mix of new inventory and strong dollar volume, August is already showing plenty of energy!

As we settle further into August, expect Gunnison County to remain in full summer mode, with warm, sunny days, cool mountain evenings, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Local farmers markets, concerts, community gatherings, festivals, hiking, biking, fishing, and other recreational activities continue to bring residents and visitors together. August is also an important month for real estate, as buyers take advantage of the final stretch of summer to explore properties before the season begins to wind down. With visitor activity remaining strong and more properties coming onto the market, we can expect continued buyer interest, fresh listings, and steady real estate activity throughout August. It’s shaping up to be another exciting month in the Gunnison Valley!
